We are a Community Women's Bible study devoted to studying God's word and applying it in our lives. We meet every Wednesday in Sandpoint, Idaho. We are comprised of women who represent all ages and areas of life and many churches in our community.

Encourage
After God's Heart exists to encourage every woman to engage in a deeper study of God’s inerrant Word using inductive study methods (the observation of evidence, the examination of evidence, and a conclusion based upon the evidence). Our goal is to move beyond mental comprehension to life application and a fully encompassing Biblical worldview.
Unite
We come from many different denominational backgrounds and we therefore emphasize the things that unite us rather than those that divide us. We welcome anyone who seeks to study, understand and apply Scripture.
Believe
We Believe: "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work." 2 Tim. 3:16, 17(NLT)
Our History
In 1991, a local woman with a big vision sent a note to all the local churches asking if anyone was interested in helping her start up a Ladies Interdenominational Bible Study. A group of women responded immediately, feeling called by the Lord to jump in. They returned to their churches to seek the approval and support of their Pastors. What they heard was, "“It's not possible for women from different denominations to get together and study the Word because of all their doctrinal differences.” Yet, the call of God on their hearts was strong so they put together a leadership team and began that "impossible" task of forming the After God's Heart Community Women's Bible study.
Twenty three years later the study is going strong, bringing women together from a vast cross section of churches in our community. We don't study doctrine, only the Word of God, which transcends all doctrine.There is great joy in seeing such a diverse group of women studying Scripture and making connections that last a lifetime. We invite you to join us on any Wednesday and experience AGH for yourself!
